Biography
Scott Butherus is a native Floridian that has spent his entire life along the Gulf Coast. He was the first ever graduate student to earn a master's degree in multimedia journalism from the University of South Florida.
Prior to his arrival at the Naples Daily, Scott worked for The Tampa Tribune, WFLA Channel 8 and TBO.com as a multimedia journalist and online producer. During his time there, he primarily covered the Rays, Buccaneers and the outdoors and was in the pressbox for both a Super Bowl and a World Series.
Scott has a wife, Krystal, and three very large dogs. When he isn't telling stories and taking pictures, he enjoys fishing, SCUBA diving and playing baseball.
